Senior Accountant

iApartments is an enterprise-level smart home platform that turns ordinary apartments into intelligent apartments. Our smart technology automates asset protection, access control, and operational efficiencies for multifamily property owners, managers, and their residents.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and SaaS reporting
. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes, with a focus on Sage Intacct.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support external audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Sage Intacct is required.
• ASC
  606 reporting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with other financial tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in Prop Tech, SaaS, or technology.
• Knowledge of financial compliance and internal controls.
