Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure strong internal controls
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure completeness and reliability
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Own the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including 3–5 year projections
• Perform variance analysis and present actionable insights to leadership
• Translate business initiatives into comprehensive financial plans
• Support long-term strategic planning through data-driven analysis
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and scenario analyses
• Assess the financial impact of operational decisions, investments, and growth initiatives
• Identify financial risks and recommend proactive solutions
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to support reporting and analytical needs
• Evaluate existing workflows and implement scalable process improvements
• Enhance financial reporting tools and systems as the organization grows
• Take ownership of special projects and evolving responsibilities within a lean team structure

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Strong foundational knowledge of AP, AR, and GL accounting
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models, long-term projections, and budgets
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience reviewing and interpreting complete financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working within a large ERP system
