HR Soul is partnering with a sophisticated, multi-entity financial services platform headquartered in Tampa. This organization quietly powers a diverse ecosystem of investment vehicles, operating entities, and family office structures.

They are seeking a sharp, detail-driven, early-career accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants exposure far beyond traditional bookkeeping. This is not a “just process invoices” role. This is hands-on immersion into the financial architecture of a complex investment platform.

About the Role

You will support senior accounting leadership in managing financial operations across multiple structured entities, including private investment vehicles, special purpose entities, partnership structures, incentive entities, and separately managed accounts.

Investment & Entity Accounting Support
  • Preparing and compiling financial reporting support schedules
  • Coordinating audit, valuation, and tax documentation
  • Supporting treasury functions and payment documentation
  • Processing capital activity and investor-related documentation
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and maintaining clean general ledger support

This role touches real investment structures. Accuracy matters. Timing matters. Professionalism matters.

Accounts Receivable Management
  • Maintain accurate aging schedules across multiple entities
  • Generate and reconcile invoices
  • Apply payments and clear discrepancies
  • Monitor outstanding balances and provide monthly status updates
  • Follow up professionally on delinquent accounts
Accounts Payable Administration
  • Process and verify vendor invoices across multiple entities
  • Reconcile statements and resolve billing issues
  • Maintain aging accuracy and payment tracking
  • Support audit readiness through clean documentation practices
  • Assist in refining processes and strengthening internal controls
Travel & Expense Oversight
  • Review expense submissions for proper coding and documentation
  • Ensure receipts and compliance standards are met prior to processing
Document & Data Management
  • Maintain organized electronic records within secure data systems
  • Support administrative filing, scanning, and digital recordkeeping
  • Provide documentation to auditors, tax professionals, and compliance partners as requested

Required Background
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1+ year of experience or relevant internship exposure
  • Ability to learn new financial systems quickly

Exposure to fund accounting software, bill pay platforms, or equity management systems is a plus, but not required.
