Staff Attorney

Holland & Knight is seeking a Staff Attorney with a minimum of three years of experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in litigation, including drafting motions and negotiating settlements within the consumer finance area. Prior experience representing banks, lenders, credit card issuers, and loan servicing companies is preferred.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a commitment to client service, and the ability to appropriately prioritize matters are essential.

• Minimum of three years of transferable experience.
• Experience in litigation, drafting motions, and negotiating settlements within the consumer finance area.
• Experience representing banks, lenders, credit card issuers, and loan servicing companies preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Must reside and be barred in a jurisdiction where we currently have a U.S. office location.
• Must be able to work in the office at least three business days per week.
• Location flexibility: this position may be filled in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, or Washington.
• Pay range for these locations is $130,000 - $160,000/year, plus discretionary bonuses.
