• Lead and oversee external financial reporting
  , including SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) where applicable
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Own and manage SOX compliance
  , internal controls, and audit readiness
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Lead accounting considerations for M&A activity, integrations, and IPO preparation
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across entities or locations
• Review complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memos
• Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting policies and procedures
• Provide leadership and oversight to multi-location accounting teams
• Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and executive leadership
• Prepare and support executive, board-level, and investor reporting
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to scale operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 10–15+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in a Director of Accounting, Director of Financial Reporting, or similar leadership role
• CPA strongly preferred
• Public accounting background (Big 4 or national firm) preferred
• Deep expertise in SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX environments
• Experience supporting M&A, complex transactions, or IPO readiness preferred
• ERP and consolidation system experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams and operate in fast-paced, high-compliance environments
