Financial Manager
Fully on-site, part time. Palm Beach, Florida.
A premier luxury condominium community in Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of the association and serve as a strategic financial partner to both the General Manager and Board of Directors. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, operational analysis, and long-term financial planning for the property.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and financial management, along with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and board members in a high-touch, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the condominium association
- Act as the financial liaison between the General Manager, Board of Directors, and accounting/bookkeeping functions
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L reports, balance sheets, cash flow, and general ledger activity
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to the Board
- Perform detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide recommendations on operational and financial trends
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPI reporting, and board-level analytics to improve visibility into association performance
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including reserve planning and capital expenditure tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience, ideally within real estate, hospitality, property management, HOA/condominium associations, or private clubs
- Strong experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and board reporting
- Ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and board members in a professional and concise manner
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting system experience required
