I'm working on a really exciting search for a Staff Accountant at a well-established, PE-backed contractor in the Florida area.
The company has been around for nearly 40 years, is in a strong growth phase, and recently brought on a private equity partner to help take things to the next level.
You’ll report directly to a fantastic VP of Finance who is building out the accounting function from the ground up. He's the kind of leader who actually invests in the people on his team.
What the role looks like:- Full-cycle AP/AR, month‑end close, reconciliations
- Hands‑on involvement in a new payroll system implementation and KPI dashboard buildout
- Real opportunity to streamline and automate processes — not just maintain them
- Clear path to grow into a Manager or Controller‑type role as the company scales
- Exposure to M&A and deal activity down the road
- 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate a plus
