Our Finance and Accounting team is seeking a dedicated Accounting and Finance Manager. We need a leader who is energetic, fueled by curiosity, willing to push the boundaries of our financial processes, and focused on constant improvement. Our team’s mission is to teach financial knowledge to every member of the company; as a manager, you will be a primary contributor to that mission.

• Work directly with the CFO and assist in managing a Finance and Accounting Team of 5-7 members. Participate in reviews and work with team members on their monthly goal tables.
• Support and collaborate with 15-20 technical service teams on billing, client requests and accounts receivable (AR).
• Assist in overseeing the monthly billing cycle that sends around 700 invoices a month. Review invoices for errors and create processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of our invoice process. Cover invoice preparation responsibilities if a teammate is out or pitch in at peak times.
• Work with the CFO to oversee AR processes and coordinate 400 AR statements each month.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports that are issued to the partner group. Conduct regular financial analysis and provide the CFO and executive team with actionable insights to improve performance.
• Review and assist with monthly job cost reports.
• Process payroll bi-weekly for all employees.
• Expertly navigate and optimize our accounting software to summarize complex data into clear, reportable trends. Offer suggestions on ERP systems and work with our 3rd party consultants to introduce custom reports.
• Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies and strengthen professional partnerships.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Software Expertise:
  High proficiency in accounting software such as Unanet is required.
• Advanced Data
  
  Skills:
  
  Mastery of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling).
• Experience:
  
  5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the engineering, land development, or professional services industry.
• Leadership Track Record:
  Proven experience managing staff and overseeing departmental workflows.
• Detail-Oriented:
  Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Communication:
  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial project managers.
