Our Client is looking for a detail-oriented Lending Specialist to manage deals from approval through closing and ongoing servicing. The Lending Specialist will act as the key liaison across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant execution. This is a great opportunity for a Lending Specialist who thrives in a fast‑paced, transactional environment and is a 6‑month contract to start.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact throughout the loan lifecycle—from approval through closing and servicing
- Manage deal pipeline with Relationship Managers to drive timely closings
- Coordinate and review closing documentation with legal and internal teams for due diligence and compliance
- Execute transactions, elevate issues, and mitigate risk through proper controls
- Prepare and compile all required loan documentation and supporting materials
- Partner with operations (closing/servicing) on booking, reconciliations, and cash positioning
- Ensure accurate loan funding, payments, draws, and payoffs
- Review loan documents for accuracy and support closing execution
- Communicate proactively with lenders on any pre‑closing issues
- Commercial lending experience
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and compliance requirements
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple transactions
- Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation
