Job DescriptionTeller
- Assist members with financial transactions, including paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments; sell money orders and traveler’s checks; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
- Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services, directing them to appropriate departments.
- Cross‑sell credit union products and services to achieve corporate goals.
- Complete aCTR for cash transactions over $10,000, ensuring approval from a senior teller, head teller, assistant manager or manager before forwarding to operations for final approval.
- Report suspicious conduct or transactions to supervisor, who may forward information to compliance officer for SAR determination.
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Ensure compliance with BSA/CIP/OFAC regulations and internal policies through ongoing training.
