Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor role based in Tampa, FL. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons, and develop personalized financial plans. Daily responsibilities include analyzing client financial information, recommending suitable investment and retirement strategies, and monitoring portfolios for performance and alignment with client objectives. The role involves preparing and presenting financial proposals, maintaining detailed client records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies.
The Financial Advisor will also engage in ongoing client communication, conduct periodic reviews, and participate in business development activities to grow their client base.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning capabilities, including experience developing comprehensive Financial Planning and Retirement Planning strategies.
- Solid foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to analyze markets, products, and portfolio performance.
- Demonstrated Financial Advisory skills, including client discovery, goal setting, and ongoing relationship management.
- Relevant licenses (e.g., FINRA Series 7, 66 or equivalent) and applicable state insurance licenses, or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with a client-focused and ethical approach.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities, with proficiency in financial planning software and standard office tools.
- Prior experience as a financial advisor, planner, or related financial services role is preferred.
