Key responsibilities include supporting cross-functional teams and consolidating, analyzing and forecasting capital spend and G&A expenses across both the Brand and corporate levels.
This position is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and will work on a hybrid schedule (blend of onsite and remote).ESSENTIAL DUTIES Perform monthly financial and business analysis of consolidated results vs. forecasted expectations utilizing the general ledger, subsystems, financial statements and collaboration with restaurant brands and cross-functional teams
Accurately report consolidated monthly and quarterly reporting including variance analysis and commentary; articulate the information into presentation format that is presented to the leadership team Prepare schedules and perform analysis to support external financial reporting
Liaise with business and brand leads to gather information, accurately update forecasts based on actuals and input from the business, provide reporting information as needed to facilitate informed financial decisions to achieve established financial targets
Assist in the development and modeling of the consolidated strategic long-range plan including balance sheet & cash flow modeling, and scenario planning/management especially around capital expenditures
Participate in meetings with Senior Management on trends and financial data Develop and analyze annual plan and ongoing financial forecasts for capital and G&A line-items; liaise with business leads on inputs affecting capital and G&APerform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, required CPA, preferred
Experience/
Skills:
Independent and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance, preferably in the restaurant or retail industry
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement presentation
Ability to analyze and problem solve with a high level of intellectual curiosity that leverages a strong statistical background
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences and influence teams
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
