Business Analytics Senior Lead Analyst

Job Title

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

• Create Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) technical strategy, architecture, application design and tools usability to support stakeholders across 1st and 2nd line.
• Develop and articulate an analytical framework to solve business challenges within the WCR area, covering Derivatives, Securities, and Lending products.
• Identify areas for simplification, automation, and technology synergies to reduce operational costs and risks.
• Extract actionable insights from advanced credit risk metrics such as Pre‑Settlement Exposure, Net Stress Exposure, Sensitivities, and multiple data sets.
• Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools and methods to transform the organization’s analytical capability.
• Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation or opportunity strategies.
• Ensure robust quantification in analytical processes for Derivatives and Securities exposure calculation and data.
• Automate, simplify, and consolidate global processes performed across geographical locations.
• Leverage specialized knowledge of Citi’s data analysis tools, design, implement, and test processes.
• Use Citi’s internal data quality monitoring and remediation end‑to‑end processes.
• Coordinate Citi’s technology book of work for the function.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field and 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Risk Analyst, Business Analytics Group Manager, Risk Operations Analyst, Risk Control Analyst, Market Risk Reporting intern, or related position involving coordination, design, project management, and implementation of key automation efforts.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 10 years of progressively responsible post‑baccalaureate experience.
• 8 years of experience must include risk management in the banking industry, Agile project management (SCRUM, JIRA), system and architecture development, stakeholder influence, financial products (Derivatives, Securities, Lending), analytical and statistical skills to translate large data volumes, and the ability to synthesize concepts into user‑friendly language for senior management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, business intelligence tools, and Python coding for credit risk datasets.

Wage Range: $151,700 to $182,700
