Manager/Director Of Reporting And Fp&A

The Manager/Director of Reporting and FP&A is responsible for providing executive and department leaders with financial reporting and analysis used for strategic decision making. In addition, the successful candidate will drive the annual budget and forecasting processes. The successful candidate will develop and maintain corporate models to support strategic planning, debt financing, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors.
  • Preparation and analysis of departmental reporting to support compliance with established budgets.
  • Manage the financial reporting and budgeting software (Planful) including the design and maintenance of reports to meet end user needs.
  • Manage the data integration and reconciliation between Planful and the Company's ERP (IFS).
  • Championing AI adoption across FP&A, accounting, and reporting functions — including tool evaluation, workflow integration, and change management — to drive forecast accuracy, reporting velocity, and capacity reallocation toward higher-value analysis.
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting process. Includes project management skills, ability to partner across the organization, and performing reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of inputs.
  • Assist in evaluating refinancing opportunities, new debt issuances, and capital structure optimization through analysis, preparation of presentations and modeling.
  • Maintain and update debt covenant compliance models and prepare quarterly and annual compliance certificates in coordination with accounting.
  • Maintain and enhance a comprehensive corporate financial model (5+ year) to support strategic planning, debt financing, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze working capital trends across receivables, payables, and accrued liabilities; identify drivers of cash conversion cycle changes.
  • Assist with the preparation of corporate presentations for strategic initiatives.
  • Perform model reviews for business opportunities including M&A, expansions, and greenfield projects.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Key skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the preparation and delivery of management reporting to senior leaders.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining comprehensive financial models.
  • Experience in leading the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Planful (financial reporting and budgeting software) and IFS (ERP system) or similar experience.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be organized and strong attention to detail.
  • US GAAP knowledge.
  • The Manager or Director title to be commensurate with experience.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • CPA or MBA preferred
