County Health Department Financial Administrator position within the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County. This executive-level role manages budget, finance, accounting, general services, information technology, and vital statistics programs, reporting to the Assistant County Health Department Director. The position requires strategic planning and oversight of fiscal and administrative operations for a department with approximately 400 staff and a $50+ million annual budget.
Keyqualifications
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience with at least 3 direct reports
- At least 5 years of work experience in administrative oversight including fiscal and human resources
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Power Point
- Knowledge of DOH systems including CONMAN, FLAIR, FIRS, FIS, and HMS
- Experience preparing and reviewing budgets, contracts, and financial reports
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred
