Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in how utility rates, regulatory policy, and business strategy impact millions of customers?
Peoples Gas is seeking a Regulatory Rate Analyst to join our Regulatory Affairs team. In this role, you'll perform financial, regulatory, and analytical work that supports key regulatory filings, rate proceedings, cost recovery mechanisms, and strategic business decisions. You'll collaborate with leaders across the organization and work directly with regulatory agencies, legal counsel, and industry stakeholders to help ensure compliance while supporting affordable, reliable natural gas service for our customers.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in utility regulation, rate design, economics, financial analysis, and regulatory strategy while making a direct impact on one of Florida's leading energy companies.

, you will support regulatory filings, research, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives that help guide the company's regulatory and business decisions.
- Perform data analysis and research for regulatory filings, presentations, and reports.
- Analyze financial, operational, and regulatory information used to support filings and business recommendations.
- Create reports, summaries, and analyses for leadership decision-making.
- Assist with preparation of Rate increase petitions, Cost recovery filings, True-up filings, Rider and clause filings, and o ther regulatory submissions
- Develop supporting schedules, data analysis, and documentation.
- Support preparation of testimony and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate with legal counsel and business experts during regulatory proceedings.
- Research Florida and national regulatory trends, policies, tariffs, and industry developments.
- Evaluate regulatory impacts and opportunities.
- Analyze utility rate structures and benchmark utility practices.
- Provide recommendations and strategic insights to management.
- Conduct analytical studies and special projects related to regulatory, financial, operational, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify emerging issues and opportunities that may impact the company or customers.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited instituition in one of the following disciplines:
Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Business
