Real Estate Senior Acquisitions Manager

Zeres Group seeks a Real Estate Senior Acquisitions Manager to lead sourcing, underwriting, and execution of real estate investments for private equity-backed and mid-market clients. In this role, you will originate and evaluate acquisition opportunities, build detailed financial models, and drive commercial, market, and asset-level due diligence. You will collaborate closely with strategy teams to align deals with value creation plans, present recommendations directly to clients and investors, and manage multiple transactions from initial screening through closing in a fast-paced, analytical, and entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and underwrite commercial and residential real estate acquisition opportunities aligned with client investment theses.
• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis to assess deal returns and risks for private equity-backed and mid-market clients.
• Conduct market, tenant, and asset-level due diligence, coordinating third-party reports and on-the-ground validation.
• Develop investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, and client executive teams.
• Negotiate key deal terms in collaboration with legal, financing, and operating partners to optimize transaction structures.
• Partner with Zeres strategy teams to integrate acquisition plans with broader value-creation and go-to-market strategies.
• Manage deal pipelines, timelines, and workflows to ensure disciplined execution across multiple simultaneous transactions.
• Present insights and recommendations directly to clients, shaping acquisition strategy and portfolio optimization decisions.
• Monitor portfolio performance post-close, tracking KPIs and recommending follow-on value creation or exit strategies.
• Mentor junior team members on real estate analytics, underwriting standards, and best-in-class deal processes.
