coordinate and manage department-administered state and federal transit capital, and operations planning related programs and projects. Serves as the district coordinator on assigned federal/state funded program/project administration. Assists local governments, agencies, and other parties of interest to determine best multimodal considerations during the development and monitoring of complex projects.

your specific responsibilities:

coordinates and manages department-administered state and federal transit capital, and operations planning related programs and projects. Serves as the district coordinator on assigned federal/state funded program/project administration. Assists local governments, agencies, and other parties of interest to determine best multimodal considerations during the development and monitoring of complex projects. Oversees and ensures consistency regarding program/project grantee-related responsibilities. Ensures procedural guidance and consistency on state/federal funds designated to rural and/or urbanized areas.

Responsible for monitoring consultant work orders activities/administration, procurement regulations adherence, and state designated program/project contractors.

coordinates with internal/external transit planning staff/agencies on multimodal metropolitan transportation planning activities. Supports department processing of federal highway administration funds for transit purposes, in support of and in collaboration with internal (e.g., other department offices' staffs) and external customers (e.g., metropolitan planning organizations and transit agencies).
