We are seeking a skilled Requirements and Program Analyst to join the MARCENT team, where you’ll play a critical role in shaping requirements, strategies, and priorities that support deployed forces across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside senior planners and leaders, contribute to high-level councils such as the Marine Requirements Oversight Council (MROC), and help close capability gaps that directly affect mission success.

- Provide program analysis services to process emerging requirements in support of deployed forces at the operational level
- Assist planners with staffing, development, and recommendations of MARCENT positions to COMUSMARCENT in support of MROC and MRB processes
- Support the development of the MARCENT Integrated Priority List (IPL) by researching and analyzing theater capability gaps and identifying potential resources to mitigate risk
- Prepare assessments, information papers, and briefs; coordinate across staff sections and action officers to support the Commander’s participation in MROC deliberations
- Contribute to the development of MARCENT strategy, policy, campaign plans, posture plans, programs, requirements, decision papers, assessments, presentations, and other staffing requirements for a service component headquarters
- Participate in and support internal MARCENT working groups as required.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving on a Marine Forces (MARFOR) or Combatant Command-level staff
- Strong understanding of Componency, including the relationships between MARCENT, CENTCOM, and HQMC staffs
- In-depth knowledge of Headquarters Marine Corps requirements process, including the Marine Requirements Oversight Council (MROC)
- Strong understanding of U.S. Central Command requirements process, including the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)
- At least 3 years of experience in a requirements and programs role at a Combatant Command, Component Command, or Service Headquarters
