Duties
Provides executive direction, guidance and management oversight for all logistics and sustainment matters pertaining to the planning, coordination, and execution of future and current operations.
Performs research, analysis, and evaluation to develop logistics portions of USSOCOM future plans, operations and strategy, essential tasks, and supporting tasks within the USSOCOM strategic planning process.
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert on all SOF-related logistics and sustainment issues globally at the strategic and operational level.
Incumbent is responsible for processing and coordinating temporary loans of equipment for theater SOF and SOF Service component to ensure deployed and deploying SOF are appropriately equipped.
Incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and program viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.
