The Florida Department of Children and Families seeks an OPS Government Operations Consultant I to support statewide eligibility operations in the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency. This role provides direct operational support to case processing, conducting case research and analysis to resolve eligibility issues, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and improve processing timeliness and accuracy. The position requires independent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment while collaborating with statewide and regional leadership.
Keyqualifications:
- Knowledge of public assistance eligibility programs and eligibility determination processes
- Experience with case processing procedures, workflow management, and quality assurance
- Data analysis and operational reporting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience reviewing eligibility cases for accuracy and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Ability to work independently with high-volume workloads and manage multiple priorities
