Clearance required:
Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of award (interim TS or TS/SCI is not acceptable).
Scope of Work:
Leads joint strategic planning for CCPA, directing Joint and Operational Planning Teams and integrating public affairs equities into CENTCOM operational plans across assigned regional and special-mission portfolios.
- Lead and manage planning activities within Joint Planning Teams and Operational Planning Teams for multinational efforts.
- Provide subject matter expertise across all phases of the Joint Operational Planning Process, including mission analysis, course of action development, wargaming, comparison, and decision.
- Develop plans and orders and facilitate the handover of plans from planning to execution.
- Develop and coordinate Public Affairs Guidance, talking points, and communication strategies supporting operational plans.
- Establish relationships with CENTCOM directorates (J3, J5) and participate in the B2C2WG
construct to track communication equities. - Provide crisis and contingency response support, including 24/7 surge support.
- Active TS/SCI clearance at time of award
- U.S. citizenship; fluent English
- Master's degree
- Minimum five (5) years of planning experience, including at least five (5) years at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters in an information-related area (PA, IO, KLE, or CA)
- Demonstrated experience in joint strategic planning
- Completed Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) I, corporate marketing experience
