Job Summary And QualificationsThe Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care.
We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. As our Therapist, you will assess, evaluate, plan, and carry out physical therapy programs to restore maximum reasonable function to our patients. You will work with patients to minimize any disability following disease, injury, or genetically acquired conditions. Your duties and responsibilities may include:
- You will demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning through synthesizing evaluation data from initial patient assessment, medical history and physician orders to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- You will communicate and interact with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
- You will receive, interpret, and implement physician orders accurately and in a courteous manner.
- You will consult resources to clarify unfamiliar or questionable orders.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy
- State of Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist
