Shift: Days | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Varies)

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Status: Non-Exempt

Weekend Work: Occasional

As a Pathology Medical Specialist, you will:

• Transcribe pathology, cytology, and select clinical laboratory test results
• Coordinate with technical staff on send‑out testing, re‑cuts, and special stain requests
• Compile and distribute final pathology reports to designated requestors
• Perform administrative duties including typing pathology correspondence, policies, and procedures
• Format QA/QI spreadsheets and reports
• Maintain files and reports for the Pathology Office
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree in a related field

• Laboratory-related experience required
