Full-time

• Assist cardiologists in performing various medical procedures, including EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Escort patients to examination rooms and obtain their medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
• Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
• Educate patients on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
• Assist with the coordination of patient care, including referrals to other healthcare providers and scheduling diagnostic tests
• Adhere to all medical protocols, privacy regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care
• Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in professional development activities

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant training program is preferred
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant
• Previous experience working in a cardiology or internal medicine setting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if required
