* + Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices and services by analyzing internal and external data to identify improvement opportunities.

+ Collaborates with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, medical staff, and executive officers to develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services.

+ Assesses performance based on professional standards, studies, regulations, and organizational criteria to identify strengths and areas for development. Maintains responsibility for all assigned departments on a 24/7 basis, unless otherwise approved.

+ Integrates evidence-based knowledge to identify best practices in nursing care delivery. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs department functions to ensure services meet established standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Promotes and monitors regulatory accreditation standards, patient experience expectations, and service delivery standards.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* + Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities including the direct management of multiple departments throughout the hospital. [Required]

+ Strong management skills and experience with an emphasis on change and the ability to develop consensus from independent parties to achieve the goals of the system. [Required]
