Floating Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Full-Time | Direct Hire

We’re seeking an experienced Floating Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support multiple clinic locations throughout Tampa, FL across multiple specialties. This role is ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who enjoy variety, teamwork, and making an immediate impact across different care teams.
This is a direct-hire, weekday-only opportunity with consistent full-time hours and excellent benefits starting Day One.
What You’ll Do
- Float between assigned clinic locations across Tampa
- Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion
- Collect and document vital signs, patient intake, and clinical information in Epic EMR
- Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments across multiple specialties
- Administer medications and injections as ordered (if certified)
- Perform EKGs, urinalysis, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Assist with front-office duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/out as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized exam rooms and equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, AHMG, and clinical regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary care teams
- Uphold the organization’s mission and values in every patient interaction
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current MA certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience supporting multiple specialties preferred
- Epic EMR experience (required)
- Ability and willingness to float between Tampa-area clinics
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical settings
