What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Welcome and prepare patients for visits while ensuring a warm, professional experience
- Verify medical histories, update chart notes, and assist with preliminary assessments
- Support physicians by preparing patients for exams, procedures, and diagnostic testing
- Perform clinical tasks such as injections, immunizations, wound care, and infection management
- Assist with care plans and patient education, including lifestyle, diet, and health maintenance guidance
Practice Operations
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage messages with professionalism
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict confidentiality standards
- Serve as a reliable support to the physician during urgent or complex situations
- Demonstrate sound judgment in determining when to consult supervising providers
- High school diploma required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or related clinical training program
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient‑focused demeanor
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt quickly in a busy clinical setting
- Previous clinical or cardiology experience is a plus
