This is a full-time Sonographer role based on-site in Tampa, FL. The Sonographer will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensure accurate imaging for physician interpretation, and provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, ensuring imaging equipment is properly maintained, adhering to safety and confidentiality standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support optimal clinical outcomes.
Qualifications- Proficiency in diagnostic ultrasound techniques, including vascular, abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and pediatric imaging.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles, including effective communication, compassionate bedside manner, and dedication to enhancing patient experience.
- Technical skills in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, as well as the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
- High attention to detail, ability to analyze and produce accurate imaging reports, and solid knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
- Valid ARDMS or equivalent certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
- Adaptability and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment and provide consistent quality service.
- Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree considered an asset.
- Prior experience in sonography is preferred; experience working in community-focused or diverse healthcare environments is highly beneficial.
