Ground Transport Nurse - Aeromed Ground Ambulance

The Ground Transport Nurse provides comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients during ground medical transport.

The Ground Transport Nurse collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team, including physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare providers, to deliver high-quality medical care during interfacility transfers.

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, ASN required

* RN license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida

* Florida Paramedic license

* Two (2) years of current Critical Care and/or Emergency Department experience

* Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) within 1st year of hire

* Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) within 1st year of hire

* Basic Life Support (BLS)

* Advanced Life Support (ACLS)

* Pediatric Life Support (PALS)

* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within first six (6) months of hire or transfer

* Advanced Trauma Certification (TNCC, TPATC, ATLS) within first six (6) months of hire or transfer

* In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency medical protocols

* Knowledge of advanced life support and trauma care principles

* Proficiency in performing advanced clinical procedures

* Strong assessment and diagnostic skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to make quick, accurate decisions in high-stress situations

* Physical stamina to perform duties in challenging environments

* Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
