Temp Experts is seeking a Pharmacy Benefit Manager to lead pharmacy benefit strategies for a dynamic healthcare organization located in Tampa, FL
. This Direct Hire position provides the opportunity to design and manage innovative benefit programs, optimize clinical outcomes, and drive cost efficiencies across client populations.

• Manage end-to-end pharmacy benefit programs, including plan design, formulary management, and prior authorization protocols.
• Analyze claims and utilization data to identify cost drivers and recommend targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement integrated, data-driven solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation.
• Track performance metrics, create dashboards, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate agreements to maximize program value.

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, healthcare administration, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit management, managed care, payer, or specialty pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of formulary strategy, clinical program design, and claims adjudication processes.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent vendor management, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience with rebate contracting, accumulator/maximum out-of-pocket programs, or specialty pharmacy initiatives.
• Familiarity with PBM platforms, benefit configuration tools, or rules engines.
• Knowledge of URAC/NCQA standards and applicable federal or state pharmacy regulations.
