Catering Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated Catering Sales Manager to join our hotel team in Tampa Bay. This role is responsible for driving catering and banquet sales, developing client relationships, and coordinating events from inquiry to execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service, and a strong ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

• Generate catering sales by prospecting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with clients to design menus, event timelines, and pricing that meet their needs.
• Manage the entire sales process from inquiry, proposal, contract, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with hotel operations, catering, and culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase catering revenue.
• Attend networking events and community functions to promote the hotel and catering services.
• Track sales metrics, prepare reports, and forecast catering revenue.
• Ensure all events comply with company policies and quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of catering or hospitality sales experience, preferably in a hotel or event venue.
• Strong understanding of catering and banquet operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/Event management software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for Tampa Bay’s diverse market.
