Job Description

The Recreation Attendant is responsible for providing courteous recreation services to guests and maintaining the pool and recreation complex and spa facilities.

Essential Duties
  • Greet all guests entering and leaving the pool area
  • Deliver outstanding guest service in accordance with established company procedures
  • Conduct a constant walk‑through of the pool area to ensure it is clean and organized
  • Inspect the entire pool area; notify management of any issues that need correction
  • Conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must possess exceptional guest service skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other team members
  • Must possess an outgoing personality, upbeat attitude, and be task‑oriented
  • Must be able to work in various conditions
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must possess a valid gaming license issued by Seminole Gaming
Work Environment
  • Duties performed on the pool deck near the casino floor, a fast‑paced, guest‑smoking environment with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise
  • Position requires standing for prolonged periods and frequent walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Tasks require hand use, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting or smelling
  • Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
