As a Field Human Resources Business Partner
, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and developing our restaurant leaders and teams. This position partners closely with Operations leadership to drive engagement, talent development, performance, and compliance across a multi-unit, multi-state market. This is a high-impact, hands-on HR role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, builds strong relationships, and enjoys solving complex people challenges in a dynamic environment.

What

You’ll Do

Engagement & Culture

  • Champion a strong recognition and engagement culture across the region
  • Ensure consistent execution of engagement initiatives
  • Support clear, effective communication between the field and support teams

Talent & Staffing

  • Lead internal bench planning, including monthly reviews of staffing needs and development progress
  • Facilitate panel selection processes for Shift Leaders and above
  • Partner with leaders on candidate sourcing, selection, and interviewing best practices
  • Provide recruiting support and training on available tools and resources

Learning & Development

  • Support onboarding and development of new internal and external Restaurant General Managers
  • Conduct training audits and gather feedback from trainees
  • Monitor execution of training processes and certification programs
  • Support Certified Training Unit and Restaurant Training Manager initiatives

Performance Management

  • Partner with the Director of Operations on leadership reviews
  • Support and follow up on Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance improvement

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage and respond to employee relations matters within the market
  • Partner with Area Directors on investigations and corrective action processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Serve as a liaison between the field and support centers
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of multi-unit, multi-state HR generalist experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employee relations, and employment law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior field leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (local and some overnight)
  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • SHRM or HRCI certification (PHR preferred)
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and onboarding program development
  • Mastery of behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
