Position:
Onboarding - Contract Specialist
Work Model:
Remote
- Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 base salary; overtime eligible
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Pacific Standard Hours working hours required

Overview
This role supports HR and onboarding by drafting employment and compensation documentation, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and coordinating a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. You will partner closely with onboarding and payroll stakeholders and handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and issue employment contracts, offer letters, and compensation change letters
• Ensure documents align with company policies and applicable labor laws
• Coordinate approvals for salary adjustments, bonuses, and incentive plans
• Track contract renewals
• Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires
• Prepare and distribute onboarding documentation
• Coordinate with IT, payroll, and department managers for first-day readiness
• Conduct onboarding orientation sessions
• Monitor onboarding progress and gather feedback for process improvement
• Maintain employee records in compliance with local labor laws and internal policies
• Support audits and internal HR reporting
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information
Qualifications
• 2-5 years of experience in HR, compensation, contract administration, or onboarding
• Mortgage-specific compensation experience
• Strong knowledge of compensation structures, including commission-based pay
• Experience drafting employment contracts, offer letters, and compensation change letters
• Knowledge of multi-state employment regulations
• Proficiency in an HRIS system and Microsoft Office, including Outlook
• Excellent drafting and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Click Up and iSolved experience are preferred
