A growing national healthcare organization is seeking an Interim Head of Recruiting to step in and lead the recruiting function during a critical period of growth and transition. This role requires a hands‑on recruiting leader who can both drive strategy and personally execute searches
, while guiding and supporting an existing recruiting team.

, enjoys building momentum quickly, and can provide both leadership and hands‑on recruiting expertise.
- Lead and support a small internal recruiting team
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and accountability for recruiting performance
- Personally manage and execute executive and hard‑to‑fill searches
- Partner with senior leadership to align recruiting priorities with organizational needs
- Evaluate and optimize recruiting workflows, tools, and systems
- Ensure the talent acquisition function is operating efficiently and delivering high‑quality candidates
- Monitor recruiting metrics and drive improvements in hiring outcomes
- Support recruiting process improvements and best practices
- Significant, dedicated experience as a recruiter with a strong track record of full‑cycle recruiting
- Experience leading or managing a recruiting team (even small teams of 4–5 recruiters)
- Hands‑on experience working with and optimizing Applicant Tracking Systems and TA technology
- Ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast‑moving environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries is a plus
