HR Intern - Summer/Fall 2026
Skanska USA Building, Inc. (Skanska) is looking for a Human Resources Intern this Summer/Fall 2025. This is a temporary part‑time position that will be based out of our downtown Tampa office location (400 N. Ashley Dr, Suite 400, Tampa FL, 33602). The HR Intern will report to the FL HR Business Partner (Fredrik Ronning) and will be supervised by HR Manager (Pascal Wilson).
The preferred schedule for this position will be two days per week (8 hours per day) for a total of 16 hours per week, with flexibility on selecting those two days.
- Recruitment for entry and mid‑level roles, including vetting resumes and screening interviews
- Data entry, inclusive of forms, new hire paperwork and exit documentation
- Other miscellaneous transactional HR work
- Shape and organize a new folder structure that rests on the pillar of HR for FL and other support states. Clean up, and archive old documents.
- Update files to our Skanska Employee Center that are currently kept on local drives.
- Organize, audit, and maintain our I‑9 files
- Job‑shadow Fredrik/Pascal during project visits, and take part of the job tours in order to learn about the industry
- Build relationships with stakeholders in the office
- General computer proficiency with preferred knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
- Bachelors Degree in progress with a preferred focus in Human Resources or similar
