Job Summary:MUFG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dev Sec Ops Engineering Director to design and advocate for end-to-end Dev Sec Ops solutions, and to lead our Dev Sec Ops engineering practice. This leader will interact with application teams, enterprise architecture, security and cloud platform engineers to drive Dev Sec Ops evolution and excellence throughout the organization. Responsibilities will include leading the team of Dev Sec Ops engineers as they support existing on-prem Ansible & VM-based pipelines while building new platform capabilities and driving adoption of advanced CI/CD pipelines across development and other technology teams.

Collaboration:
Lead the Dev Sec Ops engineering team, evolving existing platform capabilities while implementing modern best practices using Terraform on Git Hub Enterprise. - Modernize CI/CD practices:
Lead the design & implementation of cloud-native, containerized, and VM-based deployment solutions using Terraform & Ansible on AWS, Azure, and Open Shift. - Advanced Deployment Capabilities:
Guide Dev Sec Ops engineering team to develop advanced deployment strategies such as blue-green and canary deployments to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. - Security Integration:
Maintain priority of security best practices in the Dev Ops process, ensuring that all deployments are secure and compliant with industry standards. - Automation and Orchestration:
Prioritize advancement of capabilities for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, testing and application deployment processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency. - Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security experts, and operations staff, to align Dev Sec Ops practices with business objectives. - Continuous Improvement:
Provide thought leadership regarding industry trends and technologies and proactively recommend improvements to our Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Minimum of 10 + years of experience in a Dev Ops leadership role.
- Minimum of 10 + years of development experience with Java, Python, Node, or .Net.
- Minimum 7+ years configuring and using Dev Ops pipeline security tools like SCA, SAST, DAST, SBOM, and secrets management.
- Minimum 7+ years deploying and supporting container applications in Kubernetes (Open Shift specifically is a plus).
Skills:
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, with a focus on cloud-native deployments and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- In-depth knowledge of Dev Sec Ops principles and best practices, including secure coding, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Experience with advanced deployment approaches such as blue-green and canary deployments, feature flags, automated rollbacks, etc.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using tools such as Ansible, Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
