Join Peraton's mission-critical team supporting secure, real-time data delivery across complex operational environments in direct support of our nation’s warfighters. We seek highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance where reliability, security, and performance are paramount. Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared ISSM to support this mission at Mac Dill AFB, Florida.
- Provide technical and management leadership for all RMF and Accelerated Authorization Award (A3) process functions across the Task Order, establishing overarching goals and strategic plans for comprehensive security authorization strategies for C2
ISR information systems and networks. - Maintain a safe-to-operate roadmap and direct the design, development, and implementation of advanced RMF processes, ensuring integration into acquisition and systems engineering life cycles at an enterprise level.
- Apply expert RMF, C2
ISR systems, and cybersecurity program management knowledge to define and drive the technical roadmap for Security Authorization Packages and continuous mission-critical infrastructure security validation. - Establish and implement innovative approaches to ensure successful obtainment of IATTs, ATOs, and ATCs for all C2
ISR information systems and networks under the program’s purview. - Engage in high-level client negotiations and interface with senior management and Authorizing Officials (AOs) regarding RMF vision, capabilities, and resource allocation for advanced RMF compliance solutions.
- Use expert knowledge to influence project implementation, ensuring RMF addresses emerging security challenges and mission requirements through robust management oversight.
- Direct and control RMF support team methods and staffing, including assignment of Risk Owners for Task 4 in coordination with the TO Risk Register, delivering scalable and resilient security authorization efforts for C2
ISR systems. - Provide authoritative guidance on RMF processes, security control assessments, and security control effectiveness across information system domains; influence policy and best practices.
- Establish and govern architectural principles, tools, and platforms for RMF support, impacting reliability, resilience, and security of C2
ISR systems. - Pioneer new authorization techniques, research, and compliance strategies to shape the future direction of C2
ISR RMF support and mission success. - Safeguard sensitive information systems and proactively research evolving threats.
- Research and stay current on threat prevention strategies from vendors and research organizations (CISA, NIST, MITRE, SANS, ISACA).
- Support and assist official Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA), IG, and other audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Implement and enforce Supply Chain Risk Management (SCM, 800-161) within acquisition processes.
- Assist with development and maintenance of program manuals, procedures, operational security, and information disclosure reporting guides.
- Develop capability for automatic assimilation of scans, STIGs, and security control matrices with AI/ML for analysis, remediation, and certified authorization to operate (cATO) capability readiness.
- Utilize role-specific tools (RMF platforms such as Xacta, eMASS, Archer GRC; assessment dashboards; vulnerability scanning tools; SIEMs;
Zero Trust tools; cross-domain solutions; encryption and key management; CMDBs; SOP/QRC libraries; lessons learned repositories; dashboards for security posture visibility; DoD compliance checklists, and Raise the Bar requirements). - Lead task transition activities and support the Task Order Program Manager and Transition Manager in Knowledge Transfer (KT) during transition, including scheduling, dashboards, start-up/transition coordination, and risk reporting.
