As the Director, your role will be pivotal in implementing innovative technology solutions that streamline processes, enhance capabilities, and contribute to the well-being of patients worldwide.

• Lead and manage the Commercial Customer Facing Solutions Delivery Project Management team in delivering end-to-end technology solutions with expertise in both waterfall and agile approaches.
• Partner with Business Partner leaders, other technology service providers, and business stakeholders; coordinate team members from other Digital groups and vendor contractors.
• Coach and guide multiple scrum teams in agile adoption, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Prepare and own program proposals within a large project portfolio to determine goals, timelines, funding, staffing, and resource planning.
• Develop project plans with goals, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingencies, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate team ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and act as a servant leader.
• Oversee vendor resources, negotiate SOW terms, manage statements of work, financial forecasting, invoice tracking, and demand management.
• Collaborate with Business Partners to ensure clear business and functional analysis activities and requirements documentation.
• Define and prioritize product backlogs with product owners and stakeholders, aligning to business goals.
• Leverage governance and portfolio tools for project, resource, and financial management per technology standards.
• Work with Core Technologies Lead and Global Product Engineering to ensure compliance with technology standards.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through estimation, vendor selection, negotiation, and delivery efficiencies.
• Direct and coordinate project personnel to ensure progress on schedule and within budget; remove impediments to meet sprint commitments.
• Establish reporting standards and documentation procedures; prepare status reports and keep stakeholders informed.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve problems, and respond to change requests from original specifications.
• Develop quality assurance test plans and ensure QA testing.
• Collaborate with Core Technologists and Service Managers to meet solution lifecycle objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members on agile principles; promote continuous improvement and cross-team learning.
• Provide agile metrics and insights to inform decision-making; participate in ongoing development of agile methodologies.
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience.
• Proven ability to define strategic actions for a global business unit using knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and related business environment.
• Experience managing large, complex global programs with capital and operating expenses and virtual teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing application support and maintenance, change, configuration, problem, incident, and lifecycle management.
• Experience delivering IT business solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with competency in:
  • Software Development Lifecycle management, including production system maintenance and operation
  • Agile principles and methodologies
  • Strategic thinking and relationship management in collaboration with business teams
