ROLE - IT Support and Systems Administrator


* This role is on-site and reports into our Tampa, FL office

Provide tier 1-2 support in a modern hybrid environment, ensuring secure, reliable access to systems, applications and services for on-site and remote employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive and Share Point
  • Manage user identities in Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra )
  • Deploy and manage endpoints using Intune or Endpoint Central
  • Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts (EDR, antivirus)
  • Support VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic networking issues
  • Assist with server administration, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and backups (Cohesity)
  • Maintain IT documentation and end-user training materials
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and service providers to resolve advanced issues
Requirements Knowledge & Skills
  • Windows 10/11 administration
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Endpoint management, patching, and compliance enforcement
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
  • Basic cybersecurity best practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Power Shell scripting and task automation
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure infrastructure
  • Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or MDM platforms
  • Knowledge to maintain Network Infrastructure (HP Aruba Switches, Forti Gate Firewalls, Windows Servers)
  • Security tools or SIEM platforms
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications and integrations
Experience & Education
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive IT support or systems administration experience
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA) a plus
