Data Analyst, Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL
. Candidates must have proven AWS Quick Sight expertise while building Snowflake-driven dashboards and optimizing data pipelines using AWS services like S3 and Redshift.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS Quick Sight dashboards (analyses, visuals, parameters, row‑level security) to deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data models (schemas, views, materialized views) and write performant SQL to support BI use cases.
- Prepare and curate Quick Sight datasets by integrating data from Snowflake and AWS sources (e.g., S3, Redshift, RDS), ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Implement and manage data security and governance, including access controls, RLS in Quick Sight, and role-based permissions in Snowflake.
- Monitor and tune performance and cost (warehouse sizing, query optimization, caching, SPICE usage) and troubleshoot data/visualization issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate KPIs, and document semantic layers, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 8–10 years of experience in BI development, cloud analytics, or data engineering.
- Proven hands‑on expertise with AWS Quick Sight for building dashboards, datasets, and visual analytics integrated with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with core AWS data services such as S3, Redshift, and RDS to support analytics and reporting needs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
