Java production support

A staffing partner of ours is hiring for a Financial client a highly skilled java backend developer.

Experience of 2-5 years. Not looking for senior developers due to low pay

Salary offered $60-75k per year

• maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of Java‑based applications in a live production environment while troubleshooting issues, improving system resilience, and ensuring seamless business operations.
  Application monitoring — Track system health, logs, alerts, and performance metrics using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, App Dynamics, or New Relic.
• Incident management — Diagnose and resolve production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and restore service quickly while minimizing downtime.
• Bug analysis and triage — Investigate defects, replicate issues, and work with development teams to prioritize and implement fixes.
• Java troubleshooting — Analyze Java exceptions, thread dumps, heap dumps, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.
• Deployment support — Assist with release activities, validate builds, support CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment of patches and enhancements.
• System analysis — Understand application workflows, integrations, APIs, and backend services to identify gaps and improve reliability.
• SQL and data validation — Query databases to validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support backend investigations.
• Documentation — Maintain runbooks, incident reports, SOPs, and knowledge‑base articles for recurring issues.
• Collaboration — Work closely with developers, QA, Dev Ops, and business teams to ensure stable production operations.
