Overview

Our client, a leading global financial services company, has approximately 200 million customer accounts and does business in more than 140 countries. They provide consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.

Day of interviewing Wed and Thursday 10.18 and 10.19 - there will be 2 rounds so those moving forward will be early the following week.

The Information Services is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across Major Global Bank's Markets, Services, Banking, Personal Banking and Global Wealth businesses. The organization has a diverse portfolio of clients and works in partnership with them to deploy solutions to increase competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data.

The Price and Calendar technology team will be responsible for building the next generation holiday data platform supporting the bank's books and records and over 300 downstream consumers. This involves end to end responsibilities from data modeling, application design, data integration/analysis and working with business partners and vendor data feeds for implementation.

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
• Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the bank’s clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
