MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Procurement Manager supporting CIS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely acquisition, tracking, and delivery of IT hardware, software, licensing, and services that support enterprise operations. You will manage the full procurement lifecycle while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and financial accountability. Your work directly enables infrastructure modernization, improves readiness across globally distributed environments, and ensures that critical resources are available to sustain secure and reliable IT services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software, licensing, and services in accordance with acquisition policies and financial controls
- Coordinate requirements gathering, sourcing, vendor engagement, quote analysis, and purchase package development
- Track procurement requests from initiation through delivery, maintaining accurate status, funding, lead time, and risk records
- Maintain inventory, asset tracking, and lifecycle visibility in alignment with configuration baselines and technology refresh schedules
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, program management, and finance teams to validate requirements and ensure technical accuracy
- Support contract actions including renewals, warranty validation, license reconciliation, and vendor performance monitoring
- Maintain procurement documentation such as purchase requests, approvals, bill of materials (BOMs), tracking logs, and compliance records
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline acquisition workflows and reduce delays
- Coordinate procurement of hardware, software, and licensing that support patching, security remediation, and vulnerability management
- Validate delivery of security relevant components (firmware, version specific hardware, secure configurations) to maintain compliance with system baselines
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree - Certification:
Ability to meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements - Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph - Strong knowledge of IT procurement, lifecycle management, acquisition workflows, and vendor coordination
- Experience developing purchase packages, managing acquisition records, and tracking hardware/software orders
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, collaborate across engineering and cyber teams, and ensure that procurements meet operational and security needs
- Excellent organization, documentation, communication, and cross team coordination skills
- Ability to support CONUS/OCONUS logistics for procurement, tracking, and delivery activities

The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
