This hands‑on technical role requires an advanced software/systems engineering background. Coding/automation and design/architecture skills are required.
Role OverviewThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at AWS.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- 5+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience.
- Experience in designing, planning and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
- Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience in database technologies such as SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis. - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions, including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync.
