Summary
HII Mission Technologies is seeking experienced Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to support the sustainment, integration, and enhancement of the USSOCOM Satellite Deployable Node (SDN) Family of Systems (FoS). These roles provide hands-on support to tactical communications systems across CONUS, with limited possible OCONUS travel, delivering life-cycle sustainment, training, systems integration, and on‑site technical support that enables mission-critical C4
ISR capabilities for Special Operations Forces.
We are hiring across multiple levels (III, IV, and V), based on contract requirements and candidate experience.
What You Will Do
* Provide 24/7/365 Tier III technical support to units operating SDN equipment via phone, email, or on‑site response
* Conduct full operational system checks, validate USSOCOM/SIE connectivity, and pull network services
* Inventory, track, and maintain program equipment using COLTS, DPAS, and DA Form 2062
* Deliver sustainment and OJT training; manage related documentation, reports, and training materials
* Coordinate equipment shipments, RMA actions, and logistics support for maintenance events
* Ensure all maintenance activities, inventories, and field events are accurately logged and reported
* Integrate new hardware/software into tactical network architectures; support RDT&E, demos, and capability development
* Configure and support tactical communications equipment including MANET radios (PRC‑148C, PRC‑163C, MPU‑5)
* Support ATAK/WinTAK/CIVTAK implementation, including TAK Server deployment and training
* Conduct equipment evaluations, identify capability gaps, and support acquisition/vendor coordination
* Train end users and embedded personnel on new systems to maintain operational readiness
* Support integration across commercial and tactical networks, SATCOM, LTE, and router/switch environments
* Provide leadership and mentorship to less senior staff
* May support both SDN and TACLAN systems
What We Are Looking For
* Clearance:
Must be able to possess and maintain an active clearance ranging from Secret to TS/SCI.
* Security+
* 5+ years of expereince in tactical systems support, systems intergration, or similar DoD technical roles.
* Strong knowledge of tactical network design, Linux/server administration, and C4
ISR systems.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and configure secure communication networks and devices.
* Familiarity with SOF mission requirements and operational TTPs.
* Excellent communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder coordination.
