Job Description

• Studies/surveys the structure and/or functions of joint, Service, and other organizations focusing on special operations forces (SOF) capabilities with extremely interrelated work processes and functions, and accurately advises or proposes solutions to improve processes while maximizing mission accomplishment and resource utilization.
• Designs, plans, and conducts work measurement, methods and procedures, manpower requirements utilization, and engineered time standards; reviews and implements changes to organization and resource controls/programs, and/or benchmarking studies of complex, interrelated substantive work processes or functions.
• Designs, plans, and conducts competitive sourcing studies/surveys, management studies/surveys, and research projects, providing advisory services on substantive issues with extensive scope, complexity, and impact, throughout service components and joint organizations with interrelated processes and functions, to assess the overall effectiveness of program operations.
• Provides complex management support services in the areas of Major Force Program - 11 (MFP-11) cost analysis, annual/multi-year/long-range fiscal planning (e.g. Defense Planning Guidance (DPG), Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) cycles), Innovation and Improvement (I&I), and development of annual work plan(s), and/or commercial activity for organizations whose operations are interrelated and unstable.
• Responsible to ensure the protection of classified and sensitive information, employ operational and information security, and ensure that core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic viewpoint to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements.
