- Comfortable working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
- Basic experience in prompt engineering and evaluating generative model output
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Lang Chain, Lang Smith, Portkey, or vector databases
- (Bonus) Python experience for scripting, speaker diarization, or backend support
About the Role:
Harmonyus is a healthtech AI startup reimagining how couples and close relationships communicate. Our platform uses generative AI to detect red flags, encourage green flags, and help people feel seen and heard during conversations.
We're seeking a thoughtful, curious AI/NLP Intern to help us refine our real-time relationship analysis system. You’ll work directly with the CTO and founder on real-world LLM applications that power our core product. Ideal for students interested in applied NLP, conversational AI, or emotionally intelligent tech.
- Craft and iterate on LLM prompts for live communication analysis and feedback
- Benchmark and evaluate model responses for tone, accuracy, and helpfulness
- Explore improvements to our red flag detection and scoring logic
- Research and propose LLMOps tools for testing and model observability
- Prototype multi-step or agentic LLM workflows
- (Optional) Contribute to backend functionality like speaker identification or model fine-tuning
- Apply and deepen your skills in LLM workflows, prompt design, and evaluation
- Learn how to test and iterate on AI behavior in real product contexts
- Gain exposure to the intersection of technology, relationships, and psychology
- Contribute to the development of ethical, emotionally intelligent AI systems
- Build experience working in a lean, agile startup environment with hands-on mentorship
- Real-world experience deploying LLMs in a live, mission-driven product
