Position: ETL Automation Tester
Location:
Tampa, Florida Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior ETL Data Warehouse Tester to ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data across complex data pipelines. The candidate will be responsible for validating ETL processes, performing end-to-end data validation, and contributing to automation efforts within a large-scale data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute ETL and Data Warehouse testing strategies across multiple layers (source, staging, target).
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity during ETL transformations and data loads.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Perform data validation testing, including record counts, referential integrity, transformation logic validation, and duplicate checks.
- Identify, document, and track defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Contribute to test automation frameworks using Python and PySpark.
- Execute various testing phases including System Integration Testing, UAT, and Regression Testing.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders.
- Strong experience in ETL Data Warehouse Testing.
- Hands‑on experience with Ab Initio Control Center Tools.
- Strong proficiency in:
- SQL, Oracle databases.
- Unix and Shell Scripting.
- Hive Big Data ecosystem.
- Experience with IDE tools Intelli
J, PyCharm. - Expertise in Automation using Python, PySpark.
- Excellent understanding of ETL workflows, mappings, and transformation logic.
- Exposure to Java and Selenium-based automation frameworks.
- Experience in test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Knowledge of Data Lake, Big Data environments.
- Language Requirement:
Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced client‑facing environment.
